Messages from family and friends...
He is my late mother’s
He is my late mother’s brother (Eugenia Castro Neri) and my Uncle. I was 15 when he was killed. I remember we had a closed casket service for him I guess because they buried his body in Germany where his wife(?)) and son lived. I remember that my Uncle John was a very strong and affectionate man. He loved me so much that he would pinch my cheeks and kiss and hug me so tight when he saw me when he came home on leave from service. Rest peacefully Uncle and thank you for your service and love. Love you.
